- Hi Jim, Based on the specs it appears the Sig p229 will accommodate the compact however; the holster will be longer than the firearm.
- Will this holster fit a SIG 229 40 cal with a streamlight? I am not sure what the "rail" reference means. Thanks.
- Hi Allen, The Sig Sauer P229 w/Rail holster will not accommodate a stream light. The rail is brackets located underneath the barrel of the firearm.

- Hi James, Yes, our OWB Paddle holster does have an adjustable retention. Based on the specs it does appear the Sig P229 will accommodate the nightmare 9 however; we can not guarantee since we do not have this firearm in house to test with our holster. We do however; offer a 30 day return or exchange policy if you would like to try out the holster.
